It just got real in that we signed our application for our marriage license.  It was a great feeling and a little surreal in that we just signed our application for our marriage license.  We are getting married in the Dominican Republic, but it is governed by the good ole USofA.  I cannot believe that we are just a few days of away from my Princess becoming my Queen.  I love her so much and cannot wait until we are there.  Not only is it going to be the tropical paradise, but I am marrying my soulmate and best friend.  I cannot wait until she wears my name.  She is amazing, and finally the dress is right, and the world is spinning like it is supposed to spin.  She is wearing a smile which means so am I.  Just a few hours away from boarding our plane to start our fairy tale. We have to jump through a few new COVID-19 hoops, but all is well.  My beautiful bride to be is a little nervous wanting all to be perfect.  I am reinforcing to her that it is all going to be perfect no matter what because it is going to be us.

As I am writing this, we are 7 days and roughly 5 hours away from our fairy tale.  I cannot wait until I see her and all her beauty as she walks to take my hand.  I'm so excited to begin the best chapter of my life.  The stress of the dress, planning the day, the honeymoon, and Dana doing her job is been somewhat evident.  I have tried my best to comfort, distract, help, and  remove her from the stress. I have had some success, but her business is on fire, and well the wedding is here. And right now finding another bathing suit for the trip seems to be the focus.  She gets to put on her dress for the final fit tomorrow.  I know that it is going to be perfect, and she will love it.  She is so awesome in everything she does.  Right now I am trying to make this moment and trip to be as memorable as possible.  We are headed to a tropical paradise, but truth be told, it is going to be perfect because of just being us and not because of where we are.  Less than a week and she will be my wife.  I cannot describe how that makes me feel.  I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!

We are 25 days away from her being my wife and I have never been in love more than I am now.  I cannot wait to see my princess become my queen.  I am so anticipating see her in all her glamour as she walks down the aisle.  I will admit that she is taking on the brunt of planning the wedding, and I am trying to do more.  I have been focused on interviews and finding a new job.  So with that being said, she has been fabulous and handles almost all of it.  I love her so much.  She is amazing and the love of my life.  I know now what love is supposed to be and it only gets better from here on.  25 days and counting and I cannot wait.  Our fairytale is going to be just that,  "A STORY FOR THE AGES".

I love that I am marrying my best friend.  There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that I am going to wake up with my soulmate for the rest of my life.  I asked Dana to marry me on Hallow's Eve, October 31, 2020.  So not everything in 2020 was bad.  It was a great year for me.  The pandemic restrictions allowed us to spend a lot of much-needed time together.  It allowed us to grow closer to each other and solidified our love and future together.  Since getting engaged, we set the destination and date pretty quickly.  May 26th in the Dominican Republic is going to be the destination to begin our fairytale.  We worked with our wedding coordinator at The Sanctuary to begin the plan for our wedding ceremony.  After setting the date, it was time for Dana to begin the search for her dress.  She looked online and in bridal shops until she found the one that made her cry.  Of course, I have no clue what it looks like.  This posed a little bit of a problem when it came to my wedding attire.  I am a sports coat and no tie kind of guy.  I was really wanting to wear a coat, and we purchased a suit I was going to wear.  Everything was great, until....., the phone call to the best friend.  They decided to ax the suit, and go to linen shirt and pants.  I was now heading back to shopping for my attire for a second day.  I am not a good shopper.  I was frustrated and not pleasant, to say the least.  But Dana is awesome and "patient" (I tried her patience greatly) and found what we needed.  We finally had things falling into place with only a few accessories to complete the necessities for our wedding. Not long after our engagement, Dana purchased me a wooden block countdown calendar to Mr. and Mrs.  I look forward to changing that number every day.  46 days away from waking up every morning to the love of my life.  She is so incredible.  It is only fitting to start our fairytale in paradise at a castle.  I cannot wait until the moment arrives.  I am anxiously and patiently waiting.
