Where and when is the wedding?
The wedding will take place at the Hilton La Romana, an all-inclusive Family Resort on May 26, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
The cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow the wedding at the resort.
Where should I fly into?
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ)
Santo Domingo Airport
It is about forty (40) to fifty (50) minutes to the Hilton La Romana from PUJ and about an hour and twenty minutes from the Santo Domingo Airport to the Hilton La Romana.
Do I need a passport?
YES - A valid U.S. passport is required for all U.S. citizens seeking to enter or transit through the Dominican Republic. Dominican immigration authorities will deny entry to persons arriving without a valid travel document.
What is included in the price of the resort?
Food, alcohol and your room is all included in the total price. Flight and transportation will be paid for separately and at your discretion. There may be extras that you can opt to pay for at the resort such as, spa treatments, Bali bed rentals by the beach/pool, souvenirs, or any excursions that you wish to go on.
What is the Premium Club?
The Hilton offers guests the opportunity to upgrade their stay to "Premium" and in return, guests receive the following additional amenities: Personalized check-in/check-out, exclusive access to breakfast restaurant, private pool, private beach area, premium VIP lounge with daily snacks and cocktails.
Do you have any suggestions for booking the flight, transportation and resort accommodations?
Yes. After extensive research, we found Costco Travel was the best overall value as it included the airfare, resort stay and transportation to and from the resort. If you are a Costco member or plan to get a Costco membership, we would recommend this for booking a package.

We also found Expedia had good prices for the flight and resort stay, but it was an additional cost for transportation which was significantly more than Costco Travel.

Will the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors, weather permitting.
What is the dress attire for the wedding ceremony and reception?
We recommend you dress light and airy as the weather is warm. No need to be formal but the vibe will be upscale resort-wear.
Are kids invited to the wedding and reception?
Yes! Kids are welcome to stay at the resort and to attend the wedding and reception. Please just let either Bobby or myself know how many people will be attending when you RSVP.
Do the restaurants at the Hilton La Romana resort have a dress code?
Most of the restaurants at the resort do not have a dress code but some of the restaurants do have a dress code. Please visit the resort's website for more details.
