Our story started 7 years ago, in 2006 on a fateful trip to Acapulco. We met at a club while both on vacation, and immediately hit it off. We agreed to meet the next afternoon at the beach, and later that evening for dinner. While our friends didn't have the love connection we shared, Brian agreed to pay for dinner so that he could take Ana out. Unfortunately, the next day Ana left Acapulco....
Over the course of the next several years, Ana and Brian stayed in touch, through skype, and occassional facebook messages. After Brian returned from Germany, he and Ana decided to make arrangements to see each other after 5 years. We ofcourse chose Acapulco again as the destination. Soon after, Brian and Ana were making plans to see each every couple of weeks. After Brian took a job in San Francisco, he was soon able to talk Ana into joining him after she graduated college.
Brian and Ana spent the entire summer of 2012 together in San Francisco, and found that they were made for each other. They took a trip to Tahoe that September, and soon Brian was making plans on how he was going to propose. He decided to propose on a trip to Los Angeles for his birthday, as Ana would never suspect a thing.
We arrived at the restaurant and I told the hostess of my plans for the evening. I then gave her the ring, which was quickly ushered into the back. After 25 long minutes of thinking that the hostess possibly just stole my engagement ring, it was brought out in a bumbling champaigne glass. |
