After we moved into our new home, we decided to have a house warming party. I spent countless hours worrying over what we would have to eat and drink, designing invites, and cleaning house for the big day.

Little did I know, Taylor had an alterior motive. I had forgotten soda, and had to run out quickly, as people were arriving. I was so stressed that I had forgotten such a simple thing. By the time I got back everyone was in the house. As I opened the door, I found that everyone was staring at me coming in the door.

Then I looked down. There he was,the love of my life, on one knee. He had to be nervous, because he didn't say anything. Finally, Taylor managed to whisper the words, "Will you marry me?" To be honest I knew this day was coming eventually, but I had no idea that I literally planned and put on my own engagement party!! Thank you so much to my family and friends for keeping it a secret and making it a complete surprise!
