Where is Playa del Carmen?

Playa del Carmen, Mexico is about a 6hr direct flight from (LAX) Los Angeles International Airport to (CUN) Cancun International Airport.  Then from Cancun airport, a 35/45 minute shuttle van ride to Playa del Carmen.  Playa del Carmen is located on the east coast of Mexico, neighboring the Caribbean waters, and south of Cancun.

It is HIGHLY recommended guests reserve rooms as soon as possible and no later than March 31st, 2015, as rooms are limited and rates are subject to change.  Please notify Gerardo or Jennifer as soon as you reserve your room and which resort you will be staying at.  This is imperative in order to add your name on the wedding guest list, The Royal WILL NOT allow guests to attend, unless they are on the guest list. 

When deciding which hotel to stay at, keep in mind The Royal resort does not have any standard rooms, ONLY SUITES.  The Gran Porto Real has standard rooms and may be less expensive than The Royal.  Guests staying at The Royal have access to both resorts. Guests staying at The Gran Porto Real only have access to The Gran Porto Real resort, but are allowed to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony in order to attend the wedding.

Guests are also welcome to stay at any other resort.  However, The Royal requires each NON Royal/Real guest to purchase a $149 USD guest pass.
