-Will I have to stay at the Wyndham Alltra resort specifically for this occasion?

The best and easiest option is to stay at the resort specifically so you won't have to purchase the wedding day pass ($125). Remember, this resort is all-inclusive so you will have free, unlimited meals/drinks with your hotel purchase.

If you are NOT staying at the hotel specifically, you MUST purchase a mandatory wedding day pass to attend the wedding. The cost is 125.00 USD per non-Hotel guest attendee. Wedding day passes are effective thirty (30) minutes before the wedding ceremony scheduled time and are valid until the end of the wedding reception (up to five (5) hours from the wedding ceremony scheduled time). Wedding attendees using a wedding day pass are welcome to use any bar available during their time at the Hotel (food at restaurants excluded).

You may go ahead and purchase your flights/hotel reservations at this time.

 

-What is the wedding attire?

The wedding day attire will be semi-formal. Please NOTE that you will be outdoors for the ceremony/cocktail party and indoors for the reception dinner. Please DO NOT bring suits or warm clothing. Even though the ceremony will be held in the evening, the weather will still be very warm (this is June!). Appropriate clothing examples are: sun dresses and short/flowy cocktail dresses for ladies, summer tops or linen button ups and shorts for men.

 

-What is the wedding setting and environment?

As this is more of an inclusive, personal wedding for close family and friends, the setting and environment will be conservative but the dress attire will not be formal.

 

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

Once arrived to the airport in Cancun, please note that you will have to take a shuttle or taxi to the hotel. It is highly suggested to pre-arrange/purchase a group shuttle, bus, or taxi online before coming. Paying for transportation directly at the airport will cost more than pre-arranging. Plus, it is a headache haggling prices with hundreds of taxi drivers who will try to over-charge you right outside the airport. If you book transportation ahead of time, you can schedule the pickup as well as the dropoff without having to worry later!
