What a surprise!! Hector had the idea to invite our closest friends to go on a night horseback riding trip, of which I was hesitant at first, because of the time of year.  Needless to say, we actually got quite a few friends and family to agree to the trip.

The ride was beautiful though cold doesn't quite describe how we all felt...lol...along with horses fighting with each other and ducking branches, for some, laughter was not missing.

What a relief we all felt when we finally arrived at the campfire along with BBQ grilled food, and a DJ with his speakers set up, blasting our favorite country songs.  Not to mention, the sangria, beer, and cinnamon toast crunch drinks we brought along with us.  We tended to warm up quite quickly :)

As the DJ started playing "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John, Hector decides to "give a speech" to thank everyone for coming (or at least that's what I thought).  Once I realized what was going on, with my heart pounding out of my chest, a flood of emotions came over me....excitement, happiness, blessed...just to name a few.

Perfect...that sums it up....it was a perfect moment that I will remember and cherish always.

Let's not forget the dancing...oh the dancing afterwords... me trying my best to keep up with the girls dancing the Cotton Eyed Joe...Jose giving us a glimpse of his break dancing moves...lol....and last but not least, something I never imagined we would do.....The Chicken Dance!  Yes, thats right, the Chicken Dance! EVERYONE did it! I have to say though, Jessy was by far, the BEST chicken dancer...lol....or whatever it was that she was doing! :) And what better way to end the trip with a hayride back to our cars...along with the "hay fight" we had along the way...lol.  Needless to say, we were covered in hay.

This was not exactly how I pictured my proposal would be like, but I wouldn't have changed it any other way.  The memories we created that night, will stay with me always.

A big thank you to everyone who was a part of our special day, and a gigantic thank you to my love, Hector, for loving me the way you do!

I'm getting married!!! Woohoo!!
