Local Flavor
There are many fun things to do in the area and we encourage you to explore the region if you have time. Here are a few suggestions of activities. The hotel front desk can assist you in scheduling transportation or tours.
5th Avenue
It’s about a three minute walk from our resort, which is very convenient. You’ll find bars, restaurants, shops, tattoo parlors, nightclubs, gift shops, etc.
Tulum Ruins
The Mayan ruins of Tulum, only an hour from Playa del Carmen, undoubtedly has one of the most breathtaking settings of any city past or present. The only significant large scale Mayan ruin on the coast, it is perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea
Xcaret
XCaret is like a Mexican Disneyland. There are lots of shows, animals, displays, and activities here.
